Volunteers needed for storm cleanup

January 14, 2015 (West Hawaii Today)—The Kohala Center will hold cleanup day beginning at 8:45 a.m. Saturday in the Keokea Beach Park parking in Kapa‘au. Cleanup will focus on Keokea Beach Park, Niuli‘i Stream and Konea O Kukui Garden of Peace and will include removing debris from the shoreline area, clearing and restoring waterways, removing fallen trees, replacing a foot bridge and moving rocks.
