The HISGN will be offering a series of Garden-Based Nutrition Education Workshops for School Garden and Class Teachers in both East and West Hawai‘i. The workshops will focus on the “Foundations of Nutritional Education” especially for Garden Teachers and Class Teachers who work in school gardens. For more information, go to the Web site. The Presenter will be Vivienne Aronowitz. Vivienne holds a Masters of Public Health and is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Diabetes Educator. She is the Nutritionist for all Kaiser Permanente Clinics on Hawai‘i Island.
