Course Fees and Lodging
This year, teachers from other islands may attend the Kū ‘Āina Pā Summer Intensive
(June 9-14, 2013) but because of distances and cost may not participate in the year-long program. Hawai‘i Island teachers may be part of the cohort for the entire year that begins with the Summer Intensive and continues until the Hoike in June 2014. We hope that all class or garden teachers can work with their schools to provide funding for this professional development program, that can earn 6 Pde3 credits. Please submit your application by April 30, 2013.
A committee will be selecting candidates for the second cohort. We will send you an e-mail of acceptance to the program by May 5, 2013. At that time, you will be sent a link to the payment instructions. There will be a 30 teacher maximum for the Summer Intensive and 20 teacher maximum for the year-long cohort program.
