Wednesday, April 22, 2020—This virtual meeting is intended for commercial agriculture businesses seeking to improve their accounting knowledge and skills by using accounting software (such as QuickBooks) for farm financial recordkeeping. The course will cover topics such as chart of accounts set-up, cash receipts, accounts receivable, cash disbursements, and more. Participation is free, but advance registration is required. Sunday, April 26, 2020—Please join us for an informal talk story to discuss the impacts of the coronavirus pandemic on your farm. The goals of this virtual gathering are for producers to share their experiences, discuss opportunities that have surfaced, and strengthen Hawai‘i’s agricultural industry through increased collaboration.

July 1, 2020—Please join us for a one-hour webinar that will introduce a Hawai‘i-based outcomes framework—Nā Hopena A‘o, or HĀ—to Hawai‘i’s cooperatives as a means to explore shared leadership together. This HĀ “tasting” will then serve as an invitation to cooperative members who are interested in participating in a six-session course that will dive deeper into how cooperatives strengthen a collective sense of Belonging, Responsibility, Excellence, Aloha, Total Well-being, and Hawai‘i (BREATH).
July 25, 2020—OUR JULY HOA‘ĀINA STEWARDSHIP DAY IS ON! We've moved the date to Saturday, July 25, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. This "social distancing" edition is limited to eight participants and will take place in the Koai‘a Tree Sanctuary rather than the Koai‘a Restoration Corridor.

August 24–28, 2020—Open to Hawai‘i high school students in grades 9 through 12, The Kohala Center’s online Ōhāhā High School AgriCULTURE Program helps youth deepen kinship with ‘āina and local agriculture through ‘ike that will also help them flourish in life.
December 12, 2020—In this online webinar and talk story, participants will learn how to create a comprehensive social media strategy geared toward their unique audiences. Using real-life case studies, business owners will also learn techniques that will help grow their businesses and increase sales.
