November 17, 2018–August 10, 2019—The Kohala Center’s Beginning Farmer-Rancher Development Program is a nine-month course that includes 188 hours of classroom training, online coursework, on-farm demonstrations and workshops, and field trips, as well as a student-selected assignment.

Check out variety trials in progress, learn how to conduct successful trials in your garden, talk story with local seed growers, and meet others in your community interested in improving local food security.
