Saturday, July 12, 2014 - Join Kaiser Permanente, the Hawai‘i Department of Health, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (USDA SNAP), and The Kohala Center for cooking demonstrations, free recipe cards, and chances to win prizes! These special events to promote healthy eating will take place from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 14 and Saturday, July 12 at the Hilo Farmers Market, and on Sunday, June 22 and Sunday, July 27 at the Maku‘u Farmers Market in Puna.
