Saturday, September 21, 2019—Hosted by Gerry Herbert and Nancy Redfeather with special guests. Clean, share seed, and taste crops grown during Kona’s “wet season”; learn about vegetative propagation of tropical food crops and take home some cuttings; discover fresh and free seed at the Kailua-Kona seed library; take the once-a-year Kawanui Farm Tour; and more. Attendance is $10 per person and space is limited to 15 participants.

Discover the art and culture of stewarding plants and seeds, participate in a seed-saving workshop, and learn how to conduct successful variety trials in your garden and more. Bring seeds and plant cuttings to share, and meet others interested in improving local food security. Attendance is free, but space is limited.
