October 25, 2016—Are you eager to build or expand a website but not sure where to begin? Not sure what CMS, ISP, or URL mean? Our two-part Website Basics course will introduce you to common terms and help you make a plan for creating your own basic website.
Session 1: Website Terms and Functions (Tuesday, October 25 • 5–7 p.m.) — $15
Learn the meanings of common terms and abbreviations, basic functions, and common tools available to make website planning and creation much easier.
Session 2: Create a Website Plan (Tuesday, November 1 • 5–8 p.m.) — $20
Learn the steps necessary to start building your website. This session will cover the structure of your website, selecting the development tool that’s best for you, and the importance of words and pictures to engage site visitors.
Although designed with agricultural and small rural businesses in mind, these classes are open to anyone who wants to learn more about what it takes to get their business or project online. Attendees may enroll in one or both classes.
