STEM Education in the School Garden
Date: Friday, February 8, 2013, 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Location: Kaumana Elementary School
Details: First grade teacher Ting Ortiz will share some of the many ways she incorporates curriculum into the school learning garden. Ting leads an after school garden club which is very popular with students. Discussion followed by a tour of the Kaumana Elementary student learning gardens.
