November 7, 2015—Kōkua Hawai‘i Foundation (KHF) and the Hawai‘i Island School Garden Network (HISGN) are sponsoring this school garden curriculum workshop led by KHF’s team of O‘ahu-based educators. The all-day workshop will be of interest to K through 6 classroom teachers who have a school garden and are interested in learning more about integrating core classroom academic standards into garden-based learning opportunities for their students. If your school does not yet have a school garden, this workshop will offer guidance on how to get started.
Participants are asked to bring their own lunch or a dish to share with everyone. Please RSVP by emailing Nancy Redfeather at nredfeather@kohalacenter.org. Nancy will provide additional information as the workshop date approaches.
