ReefTeach Orientation
(Kailua-Kona, Hawai‘i Island)

May 25, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 11:00 am

- Free

Saturday, May 25, 2019—The Kohala Center seeks community members interested in volunteering with our ReefTeach program at Kahalu‘u Bay Education Center in Kailua-Kona.

Learn more about ocean conservation and deepen your connection to place while educating visitors, swimmers, snorkelers, and divers on how to protect the delicate corals at Kahalu‘u Bay and beyond. Healthy reefs are essential to the vitality and abundance of marine life. ReefTeachers set their own schedules and spend time at the beach! What could be better?

To confirm your attendance or for more information, please contact Kathleen Clark at kclark@kohalacenter.org or 808-887-6411.

Supported in part with funding provided by Hawai‘i Tourism through the Aloha ‘Āina Program.
