February 14–16, 2015—Invited members of the Hawai‘i Public Seed Initative’s Statewide Network who have expressed a deep interest in creating a seed co-op, collective, or seed business will come together to outline the first steps necessary to determine the feasibility of this concept. Issues to be addressed include:

• Business model (pros and cons)
• Economic viability
• Best practices and quality control
• Financing
• What exists now and what is needed
• Next steps

By working together as a united Hawai‘i Public Seed Initiative, fostering all aspects of the seed spectrum, we will continue to grow and thrive.
