February 25, 2023—Join us and fellow community stewards to help care for Kahalu‘u Beach Park. We will spend a few hours together cleaning up the beach, sharing information from our kilo and surveys, enjoying lunch together, and playing Hawaiian games. All ages are welcome!
Schedule for the day:
- 9–11 a.m. Beach cleanup and sharing information from our kilo and reef surveys
- 11:30 a.m.–12:30 p.m. Lunch
- 1–2 p.m. Learn the Hawaiian game konane with NPS
Please bring:
- Reusable beverage container
- Sun protection (sunglasses, protective clothing, mineral-based sunscreen, etc.)
- Clothing that can get dirty
