October 3, 2015—Head on over to the Waimea Town Market at Parker School to partake in the Seventh Annual Big Island Giant Pumpkin Contest. For those of you interested in entering a pumpkin in the contest, registration begins at 9 a.m. and weigh-ins will take place at 10 a.m. Tomato growers are also welcome to bring their largest tomatoes for a tomato showdown.
