Puana Ka ‘Ike
From 2008 to 2014, the Puana Ka ‘Ike (Imparting Knowledge) Lecture Series provided an educational forum for anyone interested in a deeper understanding of Hawaiian culture, history, and tradition. This lecture series covers a diverse range of topics such as Hawaiian moon phases and the Hawaiian perspective of the environment.

“Talk Story” with Hawaiian Families
In this “Talk Story” video series, respected cultural historians such as Kepā Maly and Danny and Anna Akaka sit down with longtime residents of Kona to capture and preserve stories of the area’s rich cultural and social history. By honoring our kūpuna and our past, we enrich the future of our children and our communities.
