Policy and Advocacy

The Policy and Advocacy Working Group meets and discusses strategies, possible legislation, and development opportunities to build both Farm to School and School Garden Programs in Hawai‘i.

The following bills/resolutions will be heard this session:
House Resolution (number to be announced) creating a Farm to School Month each October in Hawai‘i to celebrate and bring awareness to the benefits and opportunities of Farm to School and School Garden programs. This designation would coincide with the National Farm to School Month in October.
