‘Ai Pono Workshop for Kū ‘Āina Pā Cohort One and Two
When: Saturday, November 16 — 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Where: Māla‘ai: The Culinary Garden of Waimea Middle School,67-1229 Mamalahoa Hwy, Waimea
Event Description: All Members of Kū ‘Āina Pā Cohorts One and Two are invited to a workshop with Kaiulani Odom, Kealoha Hoe, Miki Tomita, Gary Eoff, Pomai Bertelman, Chadd Paishon, and others to discuss and create plans for School Gardens to connect with Malama Honua the World-Wide Voyage of the Wa‘a. We will be working with nutritional needs of the Wa'a crew and connecting those needs to our school gardens and our students! We will be talking about nutrition, food preservation, packaging, etc.
