Aloha Kohala Elementary School ohana,
It has been a few months since I last since out a newsletter to the whole ohana, and wow! many wonderful activities and happenings have occurred in the garden. The most recent is a bamboo build, constructing a roof over our outdoor classroom. On Saturday, February the 12th, 12 volunteers showed up to work on the project. Over the course of the day we had at least 5 other visitors who came to share food, take beautiful photos, and give their moral support.
