Learn all about the honu at Kahalu‘u Bay on Feb. 10

February 2, 2015 (Big Island Now)—Turtle biologist Rachel Silverman will be talking all about the Hawaiian honu, or green sea turtle, at the Kahalu‘u Beach Park in Kona on Tuesday, Feb. 10. Silverman will outline the different types of turtles found in Hawai‘i, how they support local ecosystems, what currently threatens them, and how the public can help protect them.
