Who can apply?
We are offering this opportunity to teachers in each of the following areas: Kona, Kohala, and North and South Hilo, for the academic year 2012–2013. Preference will be given to intermediate and high school science teachers and their students. If accepted, do I have to make a commitment for the entire year?
Yes. We cannot accept everyone that applies, so you must be serious about fulfilling all requirements of the program. Participating teachers will be required to fill in a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlining these requirements with The Kohala Center, which can be viewed on the HI-MOES Web site.
