Projects Included: ‘Āko‘ako‘a Kāpiki Pua VS. Ka Hohonu o Ke Kai, and Pepa Noi‘i
Students studied and compared coral reef health and water quality parameters at two sites, Richardsons Beach Park and Kapoho Tide Pools, in order to determine the degree of human impact at each location. Students studied parameters such as salinity, pH, turbidity, and coral and algae cover at both locations.
